Childhood is a world of joy, surprises and daily small victories. This time for most people was filled with a lot of events. And in those not so distant years, when there were no mobile phones, tablets, miniature music players and other gadgets, children found adventures at every turn. A trip to the beam behind the houses, a march to the bakery at school break, the last ticket to a movie at the cinema, a sparkling jet from a column near private houses and a delicious ice cream melting in the hands - this is the world of the children of the city.
The whole year was filled with some very important fuss. In the spring, when streams ran and puddles spread, city children launched boats. At the same time, they looked at who has a better boat, who has a more beautiful one, who keeps on the water longer. In the spring, third graders were accepted as pioneers.
In the summer, a trip to the country with parents was a real adventure. During the holidays, many children went to pioneer camps or to their grandmother in the village. The lucky ones were going to the sea.
In the fall, they shared their impressions and wrote a mandatory essay "How I spent the summer". In September, school weekdays began – awakening to the "Pioneer Dawn", lessons, class duty, class hours, rulers. The performance of the school theater is not only an opportunity to develop your skills, but also to skip classes. And vaccinations in the school medical office? This is a real test of courage.
Winter brought new worries and new joys: skiing and ice skating, yard hockey, which in winter replaced children's football. The favorite holiday of Soviet children is the New Year. They were waiting for him, preparing for him. Everyone was waiting for the cherished "bag" with tangerine, apples and sweets.
