Именно он подобрал команду единомышленников, которая не только организовала вывод промыслов Межвежьего на проектную добычу, но и стала работать с учетом перспектив отрасли. Юрий Топчев, Иван Никоненко, работавшие главными инженерами предприятия, каждый в меру своего опыта внесли большой вклад в становление и развитие действующих промыслов. Они прошли испытание Медвежьим, прежде чем стали известными в отрасли специалистами, руководителями.
